Something, somewhere, out there in this cold dark world doesn't want me to enjoy Halo 3. I love Halo. I pre-ordered the Legendary Pack (the one with the helmet :D) on May 5th. So apparently, the order is only delivered on the 25th if you pay more to get it expressed... I seemed to have missed selecting this option, so now I have to wait till atleast the 27th.
My friend on the other hand, forgot about it up until release date, went down to a midnight opening, got it, and could have got the Legendary Pack for less (no shipping) on release date, and -including- the Fantastic Four video game for free. Wow. They seem to hate those of us willing to throw money at them months before getting a return :). What a great day today has turned out to be! Oh... it gets better :). My TV has been displaying three lines on the horizontal lately, so I called up tech people, they said warrenty. Long story short, and skipping over a few calls to Toshiba and many other places around the lower mainland of Vancouver, my 10 month old TV is now in some rundown repair shop on the east side waiting for a part that may not come for a week. I'll play Halo 3 eventually :(

I managed to get a copy (w/out all the cool extras) and although it disc isn't scratched and I'm not at the red ring of death yet, it does tend to overheat my XBox quite often. If I played XBox any more than I do, which isn't often, I'd spring for a new one.
Anyway, enjoy.. it's a good game.
i baught halo3, but I don't have an x-360, someone wanna buy me one ?
I hate being a collector of games.. Its starting to get annoying, having games without the console for it.. Oi.

Correct. From what I understand this is mainly a PSU issue; aftermarket coolers can siphon more juice than a 360 can handle during heavy stress time. More reason to go with a USB fan since it will be using a known voltage and not conflict with power usage.
It finally came, but still, no TV. I found out I can use a digital coax to plug the 360 into my sound system! Something good came of it. Wonder if it'll conflict with the HDMI plug when I plug it into my TV. I won't get the TV till Tuesday :(. I guess patients is a virtue.
BTW, game kicks ass ;)
